Sinema joined three other Arizona Congressmen to call for Brnovich to end the lawsuit and work to help maintain the critical patient protections. Arizona families deserve access to quality, affordable health care, said Congresswoman Sinema. If Attorney General Brnovich's lawsuit is successful, the health care of more than 2.8 million Arizonans with pre-existing conditions will be at risk. Elected officials of both parties have professed their support for protections for pre-existing conditions, and now it's time to back up those words with action. I urge all my colleagues to put aside the partisan games and work together to stand up for health care that Arizona families count on. Brnovich brought the lawsuit in February, joining the attorneys general from 19 other states. The suit could, among other effects, eliminate key patient protections that prohibit insurance companies from denying coverage or charging dramatically more for Arizonans with pre-existing health conditions. All members of the Arizona delegation were invited to join the request to Brnovich. Joining the letter were Congressmen Tom OHalleran (AZ-01), Raul Grijalva (AZ-03), and Ruben Gallego (AZ-07).
