Originally formed in 2011, the CPAs Caucus focuses its efforts on reforming and revitalizing the American financial system through common-sense fiscal policy and sound budgetary practices. The CPAs Caucus serves as an informal, bipartisan group of Members who are CPAs and is dedicated to working on solutions to address China’s non-compliance with American auditing standards, reforms to the PCAOB, the compliance burden of our tax laws, lack of proper budgeting and auditing of the federal government, and recruitment into the accounting profession. “As a CPA, auditor and finance professional who spent over a decade working in the private sector, I am appalled by the complete absence of any sound finance or fiscal accountability at the federal level,” said Rep.
