With two recent wildfires that have caused damaging post-wildfire flooding, we are using these funds to build a retention basin and a lateral tunnel to divert some of these potentially dangerous flood waters. We are thankful for Congressman Stanton’s continued support and leadership on the Arizona Environmental Infrastructure program and appreciate his continued support for the City of Flagstaff,” Flagstaff Mayor Paul Deasy said.
