Greg Stanton that will support Arizona's growing semiconductor sector. Title XCIX of the bill, Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America, is based on legislation co-sponsored by Stanton and a bipartisan group of nearly 30 House members. It authorizes new federal funding for semiconductor manufacturing incentives and research initiatives to strengthen American leadership in chip technologyinnovations critical to the future of our economy and national security. Greater Phoenix is an ideal market for high-tech and semiconductor companiesand when those companies build and scale in our region, they add new, quality jobs and lift up our local economy, Stanton said. CHIPS for America creates new federal investments to support the construction of manufacturing facilities in one of our state's fastest-growing industries.
