Therefore, I thank President Trump and Administrator Wheeler for issuing this final draft rule, marking the beginning of the end for a burdensome power grab affecting Minnesotans across all industries. I know farmers, manufacturers, and homeowners in my district look forward to the completion of this rule and the removal of onerous red tape that has negatively affected their daily lives for too long." Background (courtesy of the Western Caucus): In March 2014, the Obama Administration released a new regulation that would assert Clean Water Act jurisdiction over nearly all areas with even the slightest connections to water resources, including man-made conveyances.
