This is a win for taxpayers. “This bill is a first step in the right direction. There are several conservative wins in this package- it claws back unspent COVID funding, institutes that new regulations must be paid for, slashes funding to hire new IRS agents, modernizes the onerous permitting process for infrastructure, energy and mining projects, and protects Veterans’ benefits. Importantly, additional work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents will help our economy and re-establish the dignity of work.
