(December 20, 2024) - Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) today sent a letter to Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson requesting answers regarding how the Central Count was conducted on November 5th in the City of Milwaukee. Reports from the count on Election Day this year raised numerous questions and concerns. Among these were potentially unsecure voting machines, retabulated ballots, and an Election Observer at the facility being prohibited from certain areas. In response to these reports, Senator Johnson and Congressman Steil wrote to Mayor Johnson requesting greater transparency.
