Dr. Flynn’s nomination noted her extensive work during her career helping veterans and cancer patients with mental health services. She works through the weekend to ensure she is not rushing her patients and gives them the time and attention they need and deserve. “Dr. Flynn has put her patient’s mental health first. I am proud to present her with the 2022 Health Care Worker of the Year Award for her dedication and service to others.” Background: Recipients of this award were nominated by local Wisconsin citizens and selected by Wisconsin’s First Congressional District’s Health Care Advisory Board. The Health Care Advisory Board is comprised of health care professionals across Southeast Wisconsin.
