They will receive a 3.8% pay raise, and the Basic Allowance for Housing calculation will be modernized. In addition, I secured $80 million for a new fire station that is desperately needed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and $55 million for a Command and Control Center at the base.” Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. She is Whip of the New Democrat Coalition, Secretary of the Congressional Black Caucus, and is one of the first Korean-American women elected to Congress. ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T20:09:11Z
