The legislation comes at a time in world history when President Donald J. Trump's leadership has greatly strengthened the U.S.-Israel alliance and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made the case that the relationship must change from aid to partnership built on shared investment in intelligence, missile defense, and advanced technology. Rep. Stutzman introduced this resolution exactly one week after meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu in Jerusalem and receiving his enthusiastic support for the legislation.
