Emerging technologies give us the opportunity to innovate, improve our systems, protect workers, and use resources efficiently, and these funds will ensure ODOT can do just that,” said Rep. Sykes. This funding was awarded under the Advanced Digital Construction Management Systems Program, which funds projects for digital technologies and processes for management of construction and engineering activities. This grant allows ODOT to implement advanced digital modeling technologies, which will enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of its infrastructure projects. By using data-rich models and advanced project delivery technologies, ODOT can better design, construct, inspect, and maintain roads and bridges, thereby reducing project costs, improving timelines, and enhancing public involvement.
