Judge John. R. Adams of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio presided over the proceeding and Candice Gage, Managing Attorney at the International Institute of Akron, was the keynote speaker. “Ohio’s 13th District has long been shaped by the contributions of immigrants. Immigrants from all over helped build the foundation of the district's economy and community. They brought with them the values of resilience, ambition, and dedication that are now integral to the very identity of this region,” said Rep.
