I am confident that these six students are well prepared, and will represent Ohio well," said Turner. 2022 U.S. Service Academy Appointees: Jack Drabenstott of Dayton - United States Military Academy Centerville High School Blake Edwards of Dayton - United States Military Academy Centerville High School Keegan Terhune of Centerville - United States Military Academy Centerville High School Samuel Hendricks of Bellbrook- United States Naval Academy Dayton Christian High School Logan Attisano of Centerville - United States Air Force Academy Legacy Christian Academy Aaron Staiger of Beavercreek- United States Air Force Academy Beaver Creek High School Turner has nominated students to U.S. service academies every year since being elected to Congress in 2002, and every year at least one student has been appointed. To be considered for an appointment to a service academy, an applicant must meet the eligibility requirements established by law and be nominated from an authorized person including a Member of the United States Senate or the House of Representatives. The Congressman can only nominate applicants who are legally domiciled within the boundaries of the Tenth District of Ohio. Receiving a nomination is only the first step in the process of receiving an offer of an appointment to a U.S. military service academy. The five students Rep.
