Securing funding for our local fire and emergency response departments is and will continue to be a top priority of mine." FY21 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program Awards: City of Trotwood: $324,670.90 City of Vandalia: $225,567.00 City of Brookeville: $180,761.90 City of Dayton: $153,005.86 Total Funding Secured for Local Fire Departments: $884,005.66 Background: AFG awards are administered by the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Fire Administration. The grants are used to fund critically needed resources to equip and train emergency personnel, enhance efficiencies and support community resilience.
