"The Lower Costs, More Cures Act protects patient access to new lifesaving cures and medicines. It creates transparency in the prescribing process by ensuring that patients can find out the costs of their medications at the doctor's office before they reach the pharmacy counter. This bill caps out-of-pocket costs for seniors, lowers how much families pay for insulin, brings generic drugs to market faster, and provides incentives to provide rebates to seniors at the pharmacy counter. The Lower Costs, More Cures Act stops drug companies from taking advantage of Americans. It can pass the Senate and be signed into law by the President. Every provision is bipartisan, and we owe it to all Americans to pass legislation that can become law.
