Details on the meetings are included below. I'm looking forward to hearing from people in Lake and Klamath at these town halls and providing them with an update on the issues I'm working on back in Congress. Along with the more than 70,000 letters, emails, and phone calls that I have responded to over the last 12 months, these town hall meetings help me stay updated on the issues facing people on the ground in our communities. This is a top priority for me,said Walden. Walden has held more town hall meetings than any other lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2019,according to Town Hall Project. Town Hall Projectconfirmedthat Walden's 20 town halls -- one in each county of Oregon's Second District -- leads the 435-member body this year. Walden's upcoming meetings will bring his town hall total to 170 since 2012, and 22 so far this year.
