H.J.Res. 72 passed the House by a vote of 259-157 with 224 Republicans and 35 Democrats voting in favor. H.R. 3230 was approved by a vote of 265-160 with the support of 229 Republicans and 36 Democrats. “Today, I voted in support of legislation to provide funding for veterans benefits and ensure that members of our National Guard and Reserves receive pay. Earlier this week, the Senate passed the House’s Pay Our Military Act to guarantee our Armed Forces, who protect and defend America, will be paid during this partial government shutdown.
