Yet, he turned these struggles into great steps forward in bringing justice and equality to South Africa. “And it is only fitting that today’s Memorial Service was marked by skies heavy with rain – a symbol of blessing. President Mandela was a true man of the people and a source of inspiration and hope. His life was certainly a blessing to many. “The world changed tremendously in his lifetime, and his impact will not be forgotten.
