The legislation increases the transparency of healthcare costs in medicare – helping doctors, health systems, private insurers and research institutions provide more efficient, higher quality health care and better patient outcomes.   This month support has continued to grow for Tammy's bipartisan legislation. Late last week, provisions of the legislation moved unanimously through the Senate Finance Committee as part of a bill to reform Medicare physician payments. In addition to the progress made in Congress, health care organizations have also stepped up and shared their support for the Quality Data, Quality Healthcare Act:   “While more remains to be done, particularly in the area of quality and safety transparency, the Quality Data, Quality Healthcare Act is an important first step toward creating a more accountable, consumer-centered health care marketplace.”   The groups offering their support for the Quality Data, Quality Healthcare Act include the Council for Affordable Health Coverage, National Coalition on Health Care, Compass Healthcare Advisors, Corporate Health Care Coalition, HR Policy Association, Midwest Business Group on Health, National Retail Federation, ThedaCare Center for Healthcare Value, Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality, Wisconsin Medical Society, and the Wisconsin Health Information Organization.   Click here to read more on the Quality Data, Quality Healthcare Act and how Tammy is making the Affordable Care Act work for Wisconsin. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
