Between the holidays and the onset of the winter weather, consumers are ready to buy – and studies show they’re ready to buy American. In 1985, President Reagan proclaimed December as ‘Made in America Month’ – a time to ‘recognize and celebrate the excellence of American products.’ This year, we mark ‘Made in America Month’ with the same goals: to highlight the strength and importance of American business and the American worker through supporting producers right here in our communities. I believe every month is ‘Made in America Month.’ That’s why I’ve joined with Congressman John Carney (D-DE) in introducing the bipartisan ‘Made in America Act’ – simple legislation that connects American businesses and American consumers like never before. By streamlining the process, this bill allows consumers to easily identify real, American-made products while incentivizing American manufacturers to make and sell locally. This ‘Made in America Month’, I’m joining the millions of other Americans in supporting the American-made economy and pushing for a Washington that empowers Americans businesses. Fitzpatrick introduced the Made in America Act in July, announcing it at a press event at K’nex in Hatfield, Montgomery County. More information about the event and legislation is available HERE ### Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick is serving his third term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He represents Pennsylvania’s 8th district which includes all of Bucks County as well as a portion of Montgomery County. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
