This is why I’ve authored a bill to prioritize funding for children’s medical research instead of political parties and conventions. It’s called the “Kids First Research Act.” And the bill is fully paid for by eliminating taxpayer funding of presidential campaigns and party conventions. So far, over 100 members of the House have signed on as cosponsors of this bill. But we can’t do this alone. With your help, we can make a difference. Will you visit www.cosponsor.gov to become a citizen cosponsor? Recent breakthroughs give hope to kids with disabilities. But we can’t let up. New discoveries lead to improved diagnostics. A more timely diagnosis means better treatments. Let’s continue this conversation in the days leading up to the vote. I’ll be using the hashtag #KidsFirst on Twitter. Thanks, and let’s put kids first! God Bless, Gregg Harper Member of Congress | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
