But we know that many families are continuing to struggle as our economy recovers all too slowly, and job growth is insufficient to put many Americans back to work. The long-term unemployed, numbering in the millions, have struggled to find their footing in the post-recession economy. Many workers are also finding that their wages are simply not enough to meet basic needs and care for their families. That is why I will continue to fight for policies that strengthen our economic recovery and create good-paying jobs.
