Joyce stated: “TSA makes almost half a million dollars a year on loose change and this bill puts that money to good use by helping members of the Armed Forces and their families. It’s a simple concept, but certainly a worthy one, considering the sacrifices made by our troops every day.” According to the House Homeland Security Committee, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) makes on average $465,285 from airport check points annually. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Jeff Miller (FL-01), passed by a voice vote.                                                                         ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
