The action today coincides with efforts this Congress and efforts my office and the Congressional Western Caucus are taking to protect oil and natural gas jobs nationwide. Congress has a responsibility to act to protect our nation’s energy jobs from harsh, overly burdensome, and confusing regulations. “The administration’s misguided policies have wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on oppressive new regulations that put Americans out of work and raise energy prices. Instead, this bill moves forward with a regulation that underwent 5 years of environmental review and public comment, and has been delayed by this administration for 5 years.
