With more than 700,000 jobs depending upon Congress coming up with at least a short-term solution, time is running out. It is important for the House and Senate to agree on a bill before the August recess and get it to the President quickly. "I remain committed to working with my colleagues in the months ahead on a fiscally-responsible long-term solution to funding our highways, roads, and bridges."                                                         ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
