With such a large and diverse student population, it is imperative that community and government leaders recognize the critical importance of providing students and their families with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed after high school graduation. That is why I am joining with CCSD Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky to host the First Annual Congressional College Fair. With assistance from local universities, colleges, technical institutions and student groups, it is our goal to provide an all-encompassing look at what southern Nevada’s high school students and their families can expect and achieve from a post-secondary education.
