Sinema released this statement after the vote: “H.R. 4 lowers the tax burden on new investment, encourages private sector investment in research and development, and incentivizes businesses to invest and create jobs in Arizona,” said Sinema. “It also protects important opportunities for education, information sharing, and economic growth by blocking taxes on internet access.” “As Arizona’s economy continues to recover, Congress needs to take action and pass comprehensive tax reform. We need comprehensive reform that provides certainty, encourages job growth, and enables us to complete on a global scale,” added Sinema. This legislation would make permanent increased expensing for small businesses, bonus depreciation, and the Research and Development (R&D) tax credit, spurring innovation, investment, and job creation in Arizona. ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
