I’ve cosponsored and championed ENDA since being in Congress and it’s my hope that it becomes law without further delay. “Unbelievably, in 29 states – including Michigan – you can still be fired for being gay. This must end. Everyone should be afforded protections from discrimination in the workplace, including gay and lesbian Americans.” Congressman Kildee has cosponsored the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, H.R. 1755, in the U.S. House of Representatives. It currently has 193 cosponsors. ENDA would ban discrimination in the workplace based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
