Michiganders shouldn’t be punished for the failure of Republicans in Congress to complete their work on a budget.” Both Congressman Kildee’s Flint, Mich., office and Washington, D.C. office will resume normal business hours despite a government shutdown. Residents of the Fifth Congressional District are encouraged to contact either office if they are in need of assistance, including help with federal agencies, Social Security, Medicare, or veterans benefits.
