Sinema, with the other members of the Arizona Congressional delegation, sent a letter to SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet urging her to swiftly consider Governor Brewer’s request. “I welcome the SBA’s swift approval of the request for a disaster declaration for Maricopa County, and encourage individuals and businesses that experienced physical or economic damage to apply for assistance,” said Sinema. “This will enable Arizona businesses and families to rebuild following the recent flooding that caused significant damage to our community.” Individuals, non-profits, and businesses looking to access disaster assistance should click here.
