I’d also like to thank The Optical Society, which has been very supportive of my RAMI legislation.” “The Manufacturing Innovation Centers called for in the RAMI Act will grow industries such as optics and photonics,” said Elizabeth Rogan, CEO of The Optical Society (OSA). “The bill plays an important role in ensuring the commercialization and manufacture of high-technology products in America. These efforts are the building blocks to help expand advanced manufacturing in the United States.” EMF was founded in 1936 and was the first company in the United States to provide evaporated metal thin film coatings. Throughout the years EMF continued to expand its business and coating capabilities. A new 44,000 square foot facility was constructed in 1987 to better accommodate the growing company. ##### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
