The institute is recognized as a world leader in brain imaging research. Sinema is part of a bipartisan congressional coalition to advance research and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. She cosponsored the Health Outcomes, Planning, and Education (HOPE) for Alzheimer's Act, bipartisan legislation to improve diagnosis of Alzheimer's and increase access to information on care and support for newly diagnosed individuals and their families. Sinema also cosponsored the Social Security Caregiver Act, which would increase Social Security payments for caregivers who give up time at work to care for family members.   ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
