It will provide energy security because we would be utilizing resources from North America, rather than the Middle East. The more that we can control our energy helps us rebuild our US manufacturing base. For all those reasons, I think that this is the right course for America to peruse.” Last week Reed voted in support of H.R 5682, a bill that will require the executive branch to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline. The House of Representatives took another step forward on this critical infrastructure project that will create over 42,000 fair jobs that American consumers and workers will benefit from. At the same time, it will lower energy costs and provide reliable North American energy. ##### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
