The person selected for the fellowship will work with constituents to handle veteran-related casework and act as a facilitator between constituents and federal, state, and local agencies. We make a covenant with our service members that we will care for them and their families when they return and making sure we honor that commitment is one of my highest priorities, Wild said. That's why I'm pleased to be working with the House of Representatives to bring a Gold Star Family fellow onto my team, and am looking forward to insight they can provide to help lift up our entire veteran community in PA-07. The Gold Star Family Fellowship Program was established by the House of Representatives to provide employment opportunities for families of our service members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to our nation. Gold Star Family Members are eligible for the program if they meet all the following requirements: must be the parent, spouse, sibling, child, or step-child of a service member who either died on active duty or of a service member who received an Honorable Discharge and died due to a service connected disability within four-years of military separation.
