Gerstein Justice Building. More than 1.5 million people in Florida have had their licenses suspended for a variety of reasons including seat belt violations, unpaid traffic tickets, and broken tail lights. The reinstatement event will help more than 400 Miami-Dade County residents restore their driving privileges. A suspended license prevents many people from getting to work or school which can affect their ability to provide for their family and improve their quality of life, said Congresswoman Wilson.
