Con. Res. 113. This budget resolution instructs relevant House committees to provide $95 billion for defense and intelligence capabilities, aid for farmers, and election security. Congressman Womack said, “Securing our elections and supplying the Department of War with the resources necessary to protect the homeland, counter emerging threats, and win conflicts is a critical undertaking. While the appropriations process is the ideally-suited mechanism to provide funding for federal agencies, the current political landscape in which Congress operates is not ideal.
