She is well-qualified and has said she will decide cases based upon the law, not her personal views. I have no doubt she will make an excellent Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. After meeting with Judge Amy Coney Barrett on October 21, Alexander said, Having attended college in Tennessee and law school in Indiana, her background will strengthen the Supreme Court by diversifying it. Judge Barrett was confirmed today by a vote of 52 to 48. She previously served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Alexander supported Judge Barrett's nomination to the Seventh Circuit.
