During her questioning, Baldwin highlighted FCC Chairman Carr’s use of merger review to force companies to enact policies favored by the Trump Administration, while leaving consumers with higher prices and fewer choices. In September, Senator Baldwin demanded answers from the Trump Administration for censoring critics and infringing on Americans’ First Amendment right to free speech, specifically calling out Chairman Carr for censoring Jimmy Kimmel.
