I'm grateful for the hard work of city and state officials, as well as the commitment by the federal government, to complete this land transfer. I will continue working in the Senate to move this critical project forward. The FY19 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs appropriations bill, which was signed into law in September, included $291 million in further funding for the construction of the new NGA West facility. The omnibus funding bill that was signed into law in March 2018 provided $200 million for the facility.
