The funding will be used for the South Main Corridor Improvement Project. Blunt sent a letter to Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao earlier this year urging funding for the project. Strong infrastructure and strong economies go hand in hand, especially in our rural areas, said Blunt. Making sure customers can move through Maryville's busiest retail area is key to attracting new development and making sure local businesses continue to thrive. I was glad to weigh in with the Department of Transportation in support of this project and look forward to seeing it move ahead.
