The Central Missouri Jennies kicked it into high gear this season, finishing the year with a perfect record and earning the NCAA Division II title, said Blunt. Missourians are very proud of the hard work the Jennies put in to accomplish their record-setting season, and we wish them the best as they get ready to defend their title next year. The Jennies record-setting season and championship victory are accomplishments that make all of Missouri proud, McCaskill said. The kind of grit, skill, and determination it takes to not only win a national championship, but to do so with a perfect record to boot, is rare and remarkable. The University of Central Missouri womens soccer team completed an undefeated season with a 26-0 record, setting a new NCAA Division II womens soccer record for wins in a season, and tying the single-season record of 21 shut-outs.
