As Mr. Gross nears five years of unjust incarceration in Cuba, I continue to call on the administration to do all in their power to secure his release. I am disappointed that efforts to release Mr. Gross, particularly on humanitarian grounds, have been rejected by the Cuban government. I will continue to raise awareness of Mr. Gross' situation and urge my colleagues to join me in pushing for his release.
