As I’ve said time and time again, the only solution to this mess is for Congress and the Administration to come together on legislation that provides comprehensive and long-term reform. We need to right-size and modernize the Postal Service so it can thrive into the future. I remain committed to working closely with Dr. Coburn, members of our Committee, stakeholders and the Administration to find a bipartisan solution that lasts. It is critical that we complete the difficult work ahead of us and find a solution to the Postal Service’s serious but solvable financial crisis as soon as possible. Today’s financial report should underscore that sense of urgency. We can’t afford to wait any longer.” 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
