As a member of the Finance Committee, Senator Casey has oversight over the IRS and the Committee is charged with confirming its next Commissioner. During today’s confirmation hearing Casey secured a commitment from the nominee to address this issue on behalf of Pennsylvania’s volunteer firefighters. The nominees said it would be one of the first issues he addresses. ### Press Contact John Rizzo 202-228-6367 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
