The House of Representatives on Thursday approved the new two-week continuing resolution by a 235-193 vote.  The Senate will next consider the measure. Government agencies and programs are currently funded through a continuing resolution which expires at midnight Friday, Dec. 8. ### UPDATE:  The Senate passed the continuing resolution by a 81-14 vote Thursday evening. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
