It was a pleasure to join the MVH community as this wonderful organization marks 35 years of caring for Maine veterans in Aroostook County,” said Senator Collins. “As Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, I will continue to advocate for funding to ensure Maine’s veterans have access to the benefits and resources they have earned through their service.” Senator Collins secured $6.6 million through Fiscal Year 2023 and 2024 appropriations legislation for MVH facilities and has advanced more than $3.6 million in legislation that is currently pending in the Senate.
