Cameron is the son of Mark and Julie O’Brien of Augusta. He previously served as an intern in Senator Collins’ Augusta and Bangor offices and as a Legislative Correspondent in Senator Collins’ D.C. office. “As a former intern and Legislative Correspondent in my office, Cameron demonstrated a strong work ethic, a deep understanding of the legislative process, and a devotion to the State of Maine that made him a valuable member of my team,” said Senator Collins. “I am delighted to welcome Cameron back to my staff, where I know he will continue to work hard to serve his fellow Mainers.” As a Legislative Assistant, Cameron will work on policy matters pertaining to agriculture, forestry, fisheries, science, transportation, and infrastructure.
