Sarah Meier, Tax Counsel Sarah joins the Committee from the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where she served as counsel and parliamentarian under Chairman Brett Guthrie (R-Kentucky). She previously worked as counsel to the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives and as tax policy staff for Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming), Congressman Adrian Smith (R-Nebraska) and Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming). She earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law, subsequently practicing business, tax and government law as an attorney in Lincoln, and a B.A. from the University of Wyoming. Mike Weiss, Senior Health Policy Advisor Mike joins the Committee from the office of Senator Todd Young (R-Indiana), where he served as health policy director with an emphasis on issues under the Committee’s jurisdiction. He previously worked as a policy analyst for the Senate Republican Policy Committee under then-Chairwoman Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and as a legislative staffer for Senators Pat Toomey (R-Pennsylvania) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin).
