They tenaciously defended U.S. sovereignty and the right, courageous decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The veto confirms the strengthening of U.S. leadership at the U.N. and is a stark contrast to one year ago, when the previous administration shamefully permitted the adoption of Security Council Resolution 2334.
