This issue touches many Montanans and their families, and we must continue to raise awareness and advance brain tumor research and treatment,” said Daines. “I am proud to join Senator Daines to once again designate May as National Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Too many families across the country grieve the loss of loved ones who suffered from a brain tumor. We must do everything we can to increase funding for brain tumor research and raise public awareness to help combat this deadly disease,” said Markey. Read the resolution text HERE. Background: Daines has introduced this resolution every year since the 115th Congress and was awarded a “Congressional Champion Award” by the National Brain Tumor Society for his work to increase awareness of this important issue. ### 1 2026-05-22T06:27:39Z 2026-05-22T06:29:18Z
